CTD#639 Wildflowers Australia – A Sunburnt Country
This weeks Colour Throwdown Challenge has asked us to use the colours: Yellow, Orange, Red and Kraft.
So for my entry this week I’ve coloured and blended some Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Distress Oxide Colours Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon and Festive Berries.
For the card base I used some Kraft Cardstock from Kaisercraft. After blending the Bristol Cardstock with the distress oxides, I adhered it to the Kraft Cardstock card base with some double sided thick tape. I’ve then die cut some wildflowers from dies I purchased from Craft Dies Australia using White Cardstock (CD601) also from Kaisercraft and adhered them to the card front using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. I fashioned a triple bow with yellow, orange and red 3mm ribbon and using a Glue Dot adhered the ribbon to the base of the die cut wildflowers. I also die cut the words “With Love” from more Bristol Cardstock coloured with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide. I cut these words 3 times and stacked them on top of each other for extra dimension. Once I glued this in place I added some Rhinestone Gem Adhesives from Kaisercraft in the colour Lippy Red RS405 to the card front for a little bit of sparkle.
